Triangle actors work hard to prepare monologues for auditions and often directors are blown away, but these very short pieces are never seen by audiences…until NOW.
In the Triangle’s first Monologue Jam, actors will have the chance to show off their best monologue and receive constructive feedback from a panel of directors and producers. Honors will be given by audience choice and judges’ pick.
Our judges panel is made up of three of the most talented directors, actors and producers in the Triangle, each of whom have made a tremendous impact the local theatre scene:
– Jeri Lynn Schulke, Artistic Director of ArtsCenter Stage in Carrboro
– Dana Marks, Managing Director of Little Green Pig Theatrical Concern in Durham
– Glen Matthews, Artistic Director of the long-running Raleigh Ensemble Players
Actors of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to give this event a try. Audience members who have never auditioned before should come see what actors go through, and the amazing work they come up with!
