Kids of all ages can build a mini table top model of their design and then scaleUP to the big red PVC pipes where they can construct in a giant frame version of a dog house, throne, giant camera, or dragon.

6 artists. 6 giant canvases. 90 minutes to use ink pens, paint, and their raw creative energy to create a masterpiece. Each artist will be given a theme ahead of time but during this live drawing competition you the audience will supply new prompts or challenges. In the end, you choose the winner of this epic ink battle.

Ideate! Create! Play! The ScaleUP workshop introduces kids to the design process through hands-on building play.
Come have a seat at the table and take part in a conversation about important urban design issues in Wake County. Use interactive tables created by students from NCSU in this cozy home setup to add your ideas and participate in a survey by the Wake County Community Planning Department.
